Minelab 5000, Very Good Value for Money

The 5000 is most definitely quieter and will handle hot ground better than my old 4500 in some areas that I work there is a percentage of red magnetic slate - the 5000 cuts through with ease where I struggled to maintain ground balance on the 4500.

Likewise red clay.

I had no trouble stabilising my 4500 in WA but I am thinking that the 5000 would even be workable in normal settings there.
