Thank You For Your Messages about Udo

In My last newsletter I talked about my friend and business partner Udo who passed away in November.

Thank you for the messages you sent about Udo he will be sadly missed by many and was highly respected.

I have passed all the messages you sent on to Linda his Sister and Michael his brother who many of you will know from Cue.

I have also removed the names and just included the messages sent to me about Udo and they show how his passing has deeply affected people

His family held a wake for Udo which was only for close friends and Family.

He has been cremated and sometime in 2026 his ashes will be spread over the Mining Lease that he owned and loved to spend time at Mindoola/Mahdoonganna.

We will miss Udo this Christmas, but he lived his life to the fullest doing the things that he loved to do in the bush.

Vale Udo I will have a beer and continue to say a prayer for you and especially on Christmas Day.

What's Next for Gold Prospecting WA?

I have had a dreaded lurgy (Flu like illness for our overseas readers) for the past two weeks so have not caught with Udo's family about what happens going forward but as I said in my last newsletter

"Although our partnership (Bill and Udo) business will now cease I intend to continue the website Gold Prospecting WA in honour of Udo."

I just have to rewrite a lot of the pages on the website which I will do over the next month or so.
