A quick newsletter about the rebuild and re-release of Happy Prospector app from Kurk of Blueprint Industries in West Australia

This is my view of the app and the owner and programmer Kurk Brandstater.

Kurk has been providing information and training to Prospectors in WA for a long time. He assisted Udo and I in our Training Seminars in Cue by running the GeoMap training module at our Seminars.

He provided a lot of free training and Geomap Computer setups for APLA members over many years - he is also a passionate member of APLA.

He also has the philosophy of SIMPLIFYING information and systems that prospectors need to find gold legally in WA. (Particularly those prospectors that are Technologically challenged)

That is what the Happy Prospector is all about - Making it easier for you to use technology in the field to know where the tenements are, where the gold has been found and know where you are in the bush.

Happy Prospector App Released

Offline maps- Simple offline maps that make it easy for you to understand geology and topo features. But Simple not Complicated to download and use.

Live and Pending tenements - Easily updateable so you ALWAYS know your tenements are up to date. Happy Prospector will WARN You if they are out of date!

The App works fully offline. You download all the date to your device and then update tenements as needed. (Android or Apple)

GPS positioning - So you know EXACTLY here you are and you are on land you are allowed to go gold prospecting.

Track recording - Dont get lost if you are a bit off the beaten track.

Saved finds and waypoints - Never forget Where that gold nugget was found.

No adverts - Who needs that sort of interference to your concentration and peace of mind.
