125 Gold Nuggets at Marble Bar WA

Spent 5 weeks at Marble Bar July and August 2012.

Most of these nuggets were found on the "common" . This is the area leased by council so prospectors like me have a place to go without upsetting leaseholders.


Total weight 94 grams.Made our holiday pay for it self.

Also found gold in a place called Talbot in Victoria...one nugget 12.2 grams that was up behind the cemetery.

We are back on the road again as from Monday 18th May. Will be in Ingelwood Victoria, for two weeks. Then back to the west! Where are you guys these days? Maybe we can catch up again.

My great grandfather found gold at the Marble Bar.
He sent gold home to UK on a sailing ship, pieces of early Australian jewellery .. What would it be worth, as it sits in the bank. I think it should be shown as it is pretty special.

We found a good spot just outside of Ora-Banda...
it is one of the places I want to return too...seen some good gold there and also got some nice gold from there. A little place called Siberia....

Hi Dave,
Yeah great find, I think it was you that we met while heading north for some fishing.
You were gone when we came back down.
Went back to a couple of our previous spots further south and ended up finding another 10 ozs including a 155 grammar. Took our total to a few gramms short of 20 ozs.
Back out here again this year..... unlike fishing the stock doesnt replenish.
