What is Tengraph Web?
Tengraph Web is an Online program run by Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE) so you need to be connected to the internet to use it.
In a nutshell, this is how the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration Site describes it;
Tengraph Web tells you where you are allowed to go prospecting or metal detecting in WA and it is updated daily (Monday to Friday) with the changes in Tenements.
Tengraph Web is accessed ONLINE
Whereas Geomap WA is a DMPE Windows Software programme you use OFFLINE.
Over the past few years, we have had training for Geomap on the Geomap Training Website.
In March 2026 we need to update all that training due to the changes to Geomap where the datum for maps and all the information is going from GDA94 to GDA2020 so access to buying the previous training has been removed.
However, we are open to rebuilding that training if there is an interest in us doing that.
If you are interested, please complete the form here - If we get sufficient interest we will rebuild the training for you

For a program that is provided without cost for the Department of Mines in WA the Geomap WA program is unbelievable value and very powerful.
